*KOLKATA:* In the lanes of Jagatdal, North 24 Parganas, two local men have been bringing relief and dignity to the elderly poor through quiet, consistent service. Abhimanyu Singh and Anup Kumar Gupta have spent the past three years supporting vulnerable families without seeking recognition.
From clothing and food supplies to rice, pulses, medicines, oxygen, umbrellas, books and notebooks for children — they extend a helping hand to poor, underprivileged and needy people. They seek neither publicity nor recognition; serving people is their greatest satisfaction.
