Bengal News Grid ! Music Lovers Association celebrated World Father's Day and World Music Day

Digital Desk, Kolkata,June 2023:- World Father's Day and World Music Day were celebrated at Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad Theater in Kolkata on Thursday.  Mritunjay Roy's daughter Swastika Roy accepted the award on his behalf. The late Roni Roy was remembered on the stage. 

Kolkata Municipality Mayor Parishad Debashish Kumar and Sandeep Ranjan Bakshi were also present at the event. Pandit Mallar Ghosh was also present.  Nandini Bhattacharya, music artist Sahana Bakshi, philanthropist Parthasarathy Nath, singer Sujoy Bhowmik and others.  

In the event, people from different professions of the society were recognized and honored on this day, there were awards for all categories such as literature, political, journalist, music, cinema etc. Film director Badal Sarkar's new music video album "Bipader Sathi Baba" was officially released on this day and directed by him.  The short film "Adoption" is shown.  

In the event, V Balsara, SP Bala Subhramaniam, RD Burman etc. artists were remembered and their music was performed, event convener Shubhankar Roy Chowdhury said that this initiative of Music Lovers Association is to give a message to people not only towards music but also to maintain responsibility towards society.  Needless to say, this effort. This smooth and beautiful arrangement of music will help a lot to change people's perspective along with a harmonious evening for all people.
