: The '32nd Senior National Sepak Takraw Championship for Men and Women' concluded.

SSB stood first in men's category; Manipur took the second position and Tamil Nadu took the third position.
At the 'Team Championship' stage, Assam secured the third position, SSB secured the second position and Manipur secured the first position.

At the 'Regu' stage, in the men's category, Manipur secured the third position, Tamil Nadu secured the second position and SSB secured the first position.
In the women's section of this category, Haryana has secured the third position, SSB has secured the second position and Manipur has secured the first position.


On the other hand, in the men's category at the 'doubles' stage, Goa took the third position, West Bengal and Haryana jointly took the second position, and Bihar took the first position.
In the women's category of this category, Odisha took the third position, Goa took the second position and Bihar took the first position. Trophies, certificates and other awards were presented to the winners and winning teams in front of the dignitaries of the General and Defense Administration of the State and South 24 Parganas.


This game was going on in the premises of Jyotirmoy Public School, Sonarpur, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal since October 16.

 Bihar girls won the national title by defeating Goa women's team by 22-20 and 21-13 points in the final match of women's 'doubles category' today.  It may be mentioned that once this game started in West Bengal, but due to the lack of enthusiasm at the government and private level, this game was not able to make a mark in the public mind.  As a result, even though the Bengal team once flashed in the all-India context, this game in the state was hidden from the public eye.

 Dr. Parthasarathy Ganguly, president of 'West Bengal Sepak Takrao Association' expressed his interest to the government today and said, "I request the West Bengal government to pay special attention to promote and promote the game of 'Sepak Takrao'."
