News Desk :- Social service is the highest religion of humanity. In this noble mission, there is no distinction between Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, or Sikh. Serving people is the greatest duty of human life, and true social transformation is possible only through service to humanity. Social service does not require any specific day, season, month, or occasion—it is an eternal human responsibility.
In the words of Kazi Nazrul Islam, “Hindu and Muslim are two flowers on the same stem.” Therefore, there is no particular day or season for standing beside people in need. Whether it is summer, monsoon, autumn, late autumn, winter, or spring, and whether it is January or December, every day belongs to those who dedicate themselves to the service of humanity. True social workers are those for whom serving people is the primary goal of life.
Even today, poverty, inequality, corruption, insecurity of women, and various social injustices continue to concern us. In many cases, people are afraid to raise their voices against wrongdoing. Real social change can only be achieved when human conscience, compassion, and humanity are truly liberated. Equality, dignity, and security can be established only when human values are given the highest priority.
Many individuals have devoted themselves to social service with this noble ideal. A remarkable example is represented by two Hindu-Muslim families from North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.
One of them is Faisal Parwez, son of Mohammad Aslam and Rukhshana Khatoon.

They have been actively involved in humanitarian and social welfare activities for many years. Helping the poor, the underprivileged, and the helpless is one of their life's primary missions. Throughout the year, they and their associates distribute fruits, sweets, flattened rice, drinking water, and clothing to needy, sick, and impoverished people.
Their efforts are not limited to a single day or occasion. They remain committed to serving humanity throughout the year. These two Hindu-Muslim families have embraced humanitarian service as their life's mission, setting aside all religious and social differences.
Across various parts of West Bengal, they provide food, clothing, books, notebooks, medicines, and oxygen support to homeless people, platform dwellers, residents of old-age homes, shelter homes, and street children. Their humanitarian initiatives inspire many people in society and are also in harmony with the vision of the Prime Minister's “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.” Their tireless service not only sets a shining example of social responsibility but also strengthens the vision of building a clean, aware, and compassionate society.
Deep respect and heartfelt appreciation are extended to such noble humanitarian efforts. It is hoped that they will continue to dedicate themselves to the service of society and remain a source of hope, support, and inspiration for countless people in the years to come.
