12th and 13th Sutanuti Short Film Festival 2025-26!!

Digital Desk:The 12th and 13th Sutanuti Short Film Festival 2025-26 concluded at Nandan Prekshagriha. The festival, organized by A.D. Movies International as a deep tribute to the memory of Indian cinema pioneer Hiralal Sen and eminent writer and journalist Debkumar Ghosh, began on January 3.

A total of 220 short films were submitted to the festival, out of which 117 were initially selected. 99 films have received clearance from Delhi. Film director Badal Sarkar said that the Sutanuti Short Film Festival is gradually establishing itself as a serious and quality film platform.

Festival director Shri Ajay Baran Dey said, "After overcoming various ups and downs since 2011, today we have reached a point where we are able to present about a hundred short films to the audience."

Eminent photojournalist Shri Mrittunjay Roy has been awarded the Hiralalal Sen Samman. The award was presented by Ajay Baran Dey, the head of the organization, on behalf of the Sutanuti Short Film Festival.
