Bengal News Grid // "Indie International Film Festival '24" held in Kolkata

KOLKATA (SEPTEMBER '24) :-

Organized by 'Blue Bird Entertainment' and 'Hello Sky Events', 'Indie International Film Festival 24' took place in Kolkata. Fifteen short films and a music video were screened at the festival.

Badal Sarkar directed 'Pariyayai' won the best film award. The second was Dr. 'Justice' directed by Sadhan Paik. Parth Chatterjee's 'Same Side Goal' got the third prize.

Also several other awards are given in different categories. Badal Sarkar and Sushmita Dey won the Best Actress award for Prairayai. The film also won awards for Best Editing and Background Music.

Partha Chakraborty won the best actor award for his performance in 'The Last Time' directed by Badal Sarkar.

On behalf of 'Hello Sky Events', director Sayandeep Chowdhury said that a total of 60 short films were submitted.  Out of these 15 films have been selected and displayed in this festival. 

Director Sauvik Dey, head of Blue Bird Entertainment said, “This is our first venture.  The objective of this film festival is to give a platform to the directors of short films.
