Mission Kamayab" by 184 Battalion CRPF Honours Successful Candidates


Jhargram, [12-09-2023] - The 184 Battalion CRPF, the country's oldest and the world's largest central armed police force, celebrated the achievements of successful candidates in its "Mission Kamayab." This remarkable initiative, inaugurated in the Gidhni region along with 05 other remote areas in 2021, aims to uplift socially and economically backward children in rural areas by providing them with free coaching i.e. free education, free physical training, free competitive study materials, and fostering awareness about government job opportunities. Under the dedicated leadership of Shri B.R. Meena, Commandant, 184 Battalion CRPF, this mission has made a significant impact.


The "Mission Kamayab" initiative, operating under the aegis of the CRPF's Civic Action Program, has witnessed the active participation of students.  Through the diligent efforts of students, the guidance of dedicated teachers, and the unwavering support of the CRPF, 35 students achieved success in the SSC GD 2022-2023 examination. This achievement opens doors for them to join various paramilitary forces of the country, including CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, Assam Rifles, Police and more.



In a heartfelt recognition of these accomplishments, Shri B.R. Meena, Commandant of 184 Battalion CRPF, organized a grand ceremony at Raj College, Jhargram, followed by tree plantation programme jointly organised by IQAC, Jhargram Raj College, West Bengal.  The event was graced by the presence of Shri D.S. Grewal, Deputy Inspector General (Ops), Medinipur, who provided in valuable guidance and motivation to the successful candidates. Shri Dev Narayan Ray, Principal of Raj College, blessed the students with his inspiring words, emphasizing the bright futures that await them.


Commandant Shri B.R. Meena spoke passionately, saying, "Failure is just the first step towards success," and urged the students not to fear mistakes but to learn from them. He highlighted the various on going initiatives, including "Mission Kanyadaan," "Mission Kishan Swabhiman," "Mission Jal Hi Jeevan," and "Mission Save The Earth (23000 plants planted during 2023), Mission Bharat Darshan" that reflect the CRPF's commitment to public welfare and nation-building. The solution to any problem is not a bullet but a pen, that is, only through education can the family, village and country be uplifted.  Wherever we live, we have to consider it as our society and work for them, which CRPF has made come true.


This event marked a significant milestone as "Mission Kamayab" has successfully provided government employment opportunities to 59 students till date. Many of these students secured their first-ever job within their own villages, making it a matter of immense pride for their communities and villages.



The Central Reserve Police Force's motto, "Service and Loyalty," resonates through missions like "Mission Kamayab," reflecting the force's dedication to the vision of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" and serving the nation's diverse and challenging needs.
