Bengal News Grid ! Saving money from the Durga Puja budget and providing scholarships

Digital Kolkata: One-time scholarship of Rs 10,000/- to needy meritorious students by saving the Durga Puja subscription of Brindavan Matri Mandir. Started in 2014 by giving only five people from neighboring areas from Rs 10,000/- to Rs 50,000/-  .  This time fell in the ninth year. 

 This time saving the cost of Durga Puja, the 114-year-old Durga Puja Committee of North Kolkata Sukiya Street, Vrindavan Matri Mandir is going to provide a one-time scholarship of Rs 10,000 to 41 needy meritorious students of 7 districts of the state.  Which includes everyone's favorite photojournalist Ronnie Roy and Pinky Roy Memorial Scholarship.  


In the last 8 years, this Vrindavan Matri Mandir Durga Puja Committee has given scholarships to a total of 166 needy meritorious students from various parts of the state.
  


This year also on Sunday 20th August 2023, a total of 41 meritorious students of 7 districts will be handed over scholarship money through a special event.  State General Secretary and Spokesperson, AITC Shri Kunal Ghosh Mahashay along with other dignitaries will be present on the occasion.
