"Second Pen Festival" kicks off at ICCR


Kolkata, April '23):- The three-day "Second Pen Festival" started at ICCR. The most interesting pen in this pen festival is the pen of Germany's Bavaria company worth Tk 7 lakh 77 thousand 777.
Theater personality Debashankar Halder, two bureaucrats of West Bengal State Government Finance Department Anupam Halder and Panchali Munshi, AG Bengal official and writer Yashodhara Roy Chowdhury, Dr. Swati Guha, Burdwan University Professor Abhijit Bandyopadhyay, serving judge Shubhrokamal were present at the opening ceremony of this Pen Mahotsav. Mukherjee, Inspector General of Police Sabyasachi Raman Mishra along with a host of dignitaries. 'Second Pen Festival' started in Calcutta with the aim of bringing back interest in 'Jharna Kalam' by inciting the self-esteem of educated people.

Under the management of 'Kishloy Events and Advertisements' and in collaboration with 'Pen Club', this impressive 'Pen Festival' will continue till April 16 from 1 pm to 8 pm every day at the 'Indian Council for Cultural Relations' (ICCR) in Kolkata.
Prosenjit Guchait, on behalf of the organizing organization, said that 'Second Pen Festival' is being organized in Kolkata to encourage the love of the new generation towards 'Jharna Kalam'.
Last year at the 'Pen Utsav', some pens were displayed that cost Rs 5 lakh each."
