BG NEWS ! Business Growth in Trade for Secondary Steelmakers organized by MCCI & Steel Scenario

Digital Desk,Kolkata,2022 :-  Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Steel Scenario Magazine jointly organize a CEO Meet to discuss how secondary steel makers can run their businesses and develop their businesses.  Ranjan Bandyopadhyay, Executive Secretary, Joint Plant Committee, Ministry of Steel, Government of India was present.  Rishav C. Kothari, President, Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  The steel industry plays a vital role in India's economy and contributes about two per cent to India's GDP.  

It may be mentioned that India is currently the second largest steel producer in the world.  The conference was attended by about sixty secondary steel makers from eastern India.  Samir Patel, Chief Business Officer, Bombay Stock Exchange, said that the main reason for the participation of the Bombay Stock Exchange in this business conference is how those who are doing business in the secondary steel manufacturing can maintain their position in the market and avoid losses.  In any case, if production occurs, it has a direct impact on the country's GDP.  

Therefore, if the right infrastructure and incentives are given in this case, then the GDP situation will go to a better place.  Ordinary people can invest in the secondary steel manufacturing business in the same way that they invest in other businesses.

Rishav C. Kothari said that if we want to develop enduser industry, then we have to build secondary steel industry.  We have some appeals to the government to build East India as a secondary steel hub, the state government to create a steel ministry in the state like the central government which will work to solve various problems in this regard.  

Organizers and companies hope that secondary steel manufacturing companies will be able to contribute more to the Indian economy in the days to come. Among others present were Emperor Rahi, Sushim Banerjee, Pinakin Dave, Ritwik Mukherjee and others.
