A blood donation program was organized by Karma Social and Welfare Trust at Matri Apartment Community Hall, Keshtpur. This blood donation program ran from 11 am to 3 pm, a total of 67 people voluntarily donated blood. Notably, 18 women participated and conveyed a message of humanity to the society.
The chairman of the organization, lawyer Anil Kumar Das said—
“Service to people is our main goal. The spontaneous participation of everyone in today's blood donation camp proves that our commitment to the society is still intact.”
Eminent film directors Badal Sarkar, Debabrata Ghosh, and former councilor (Ward No. 25, Krishnapur) Vikas Naskar and many other dignitaries were present as special guests at the program.
The organizing organization and local residents are particularly pleased with the success of the blood donation camp. The trust has announced that this event will continue in the future as a social welfare initiative.
