KOLKATA, SEPTEMBER 5TH —

TOHA, The Old Heritans Alumni, orchestrated a remarkable surprise for the teachers of The Heritage School, expressing profound gratitude and appreciation in a spectacular manner. The event, organized in collaboration with the school management, welcomed the school’s dedicated educators with a heartfelt celebration.

As teachers arrived, they were warmly greeted by enthusiastic alumni and the festive beats of Dhak and Dhunuchi. A prominent 40-foot-wide banner set the celebratory tone for the day ahead.

The two-hour program was meticulously crafted to honor the teachers, featuring interactive games and exceptional prizes, including an all-expenses-paid family trip to a resort in the Andamans valued at ₹2.5 lakhs, a pure silver Lord Ganesha idol worth ₹1.5 lakhs, and a state-of-the-art home theatre system, also valued at ₹1.5 lakhs.

Additionally, each of the 330+ faculty members received a lavish gift hamper worth over ₹54 lakhs. These hampers included luxurious items such as a 25mg gold coin, sunglasses, electric kettles, t-shirts, sarees, perfumes, kurtis, personalized diaries, tea boxes, and more. Vouchers for fine dining, grooming services, and bath & sanitary products were also included, generously provided by over 40 alumni members contributing from their own brands.

The teachers were visibly moved by the overwhelming show of appreciation. They were also presented with a special scrapbook filled with comic strips depicting cherished memories of their students. This keepsake served as a poignant reminder of the significant impact they have had on countless lives, illustrating how the saplings they nurtured have blossomed into thriving individuals.
