BENGAL NEWS GRID // Actor-Director Biswarup gearing up for his "Gauri"

NEWS DESK, KOLKATA,(FEBRUARY,2024):-

Biswarup Biswas has been shuffling seamlessly between his acting and directorial works. Biswarup is mostly associated with directing feature length films namely Bawal, Biler Diary, Bachha Shoshur. He has also directed the puja edition advertisement commercials for Rollick Ice-cream. For 2024, he is all set with a new experimental short length film "GAURI". The film is to be screened at Nandan, this February. Biswarup had started working on Gauri in the end of 2022. The official teaser of Gauri unveiled on Social media last month.

Biswarup has always been flawlessly switching between acting, direction, act-coaching and his script writing. Last month he was shooting at Murshidabad with Rituparna Sengupta in Indrashis Acharys's Gajoner Dhulobali. Now Biswarup is prepping for his next actor avatar in Raja Chanda's Shapath2, as he will be seen playing an important character along with Tota Roy Choudhury.

Biswarup and his team has travelled to some unique locations to shoot " Gauri ", the short length film has witnessed different altitudes of West Bengal. From Himalayan range to Sundarbans, film Gauri has it's locations as a major character of the plot. The trailer well highlights that the film is going to have a fairy-tale plot with a hint of suspense. The two year old Radhika who will be seen playing the character of baby was recently spotted playing an exciting episode of Dada Giri with Sourav Ganguly.
