Bengal News Grid ! CAA IS NOT ABOUT ACQUIRING CITIZENSHIP BUT ABOUT GRANTING CITIZENSHIP IN THE COUNTRY,AND IT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED - SHAH

New Delhi: 15th December 15, 2023:
During a discussion on the Agenda Aaj Tak platform, Amit Shah, the Central Home and Cooperation Minister and a prominent leader of the BJP, made it clear that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is not about acquiring citizenship but about granting citizenship in the country, emphasizing that it will be implemented. Shah, considered as an adaptstrategist in the Indian politics, believes that CAA serves as a tool to deliver justice to followers of six religions, including Hindus, who faced religious persecution in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other countries after partition.

The popular leader Shah, during the discussion on the national stage of Agenda Aaj Tak, emphasized that the CAA is indeed a law of the land, and its implementation is necessary. He highlighted that the world knows that CAA does not take away anyone's citizenship, but critics have falsely portrayed it, especially targeting Muslims, suggesting that it would lead to the loss of citizenship.

Shah clarified that it is well-known that CAA does not affect anyone's citizenship; instead, it is a law to grant citizenship. He hinted that it will be implemented at the right time, reaffirming the commitment to the welfare of the nation.

The public has witnessed that the Modi-Shah duo has consistently worked for the nation, putting the country's interests above their own. In recent state elections in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, the resounding victories of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have demonstrated the likelihood of a decisive victory in 2024, once again securing Narendra Modi's position as the Prime Minister.

The people have observed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Central Home Minister Amit Shah, two leaders who have always put themselves behind and led the country forward, significant strides have been made in Indian politics. In the past nine years, under Modi's guidance and Amit Shah's skilled guidance, efforts have been underway at a war-footing level to connect Dalits, tribals, and the underprivileged to the mainstream of society with respect.

Based on this foundation, it is certain that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the adept guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP government will bring the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) to fruition in the country.
