Inauguration of the newly constructed building of "Shitalpur Parthasarathy Sangh"

Digital Desk, Kolkata: The newly constructed building of 'Shitalpur Parthasarathi Sangh' was inaugurated at Sheetalpur village of Dulalpur village panchayat area of ​​Kanthi 1no block of East Medinipur district.

Along with the inauguration, drawing and photography competitions and exhibitions were held through various cultural programs.

Prominent photographer and Joint Commission of Finance Department of West Bengal Government Anupam Halder was present as the judge of the photo exhibition, Panchali Munshi, another Joint Commission of Finance Department of West Bengal Government was present as a special guest.

Dulalpur Gram Panchayat Chief Suprabha Naik, Sheetalpur Parthasarathi Sangh President Laxmikant Jalal and Secretary Subhashis Jana were present in this inaugural function.

Anupam Halder, Joint Commission, Finance Department, Government of West Bengal, said, "Around 78 photographs were submitted for the competition. Out of them, 1 contestant's photograph was adjudged the best, besides five other photographs of equal merit were also honoured."

Mr. Anupam Halder also said, "I had to come forward in a completely new form due to the urge to advance the art and artist society. My main goal is to attract the rural youth towards photography."
