Classical Music Conference of 'Thakurpukur Parampara'

Digital Desk,Kolkata,10th March,2023:- 'Thakurpukur Parampara' organized a two-day classical music conference to encourage children towards classical music.  The program was launched on Friday, March 10, at the Birla Academy Auditorium, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Biplab Mukhopadhyay, the editor of 'Thakur Pukur Parampara', said that the conference has been organized for the seventh time so that the students of their organization get a chance to perform on stage and correct their mistakes.  Eminent virtuoso artistes are invited to perform at this event every year to inspire students and make them more sophisticated.  

This year also, apart from the students of the organization, many established artists will participate.  About fifty people including students and established artists of the organization are participating in this music conference.

 Two prominent tabla players Hindol Mazumder and Ayushman Mazumder will participate in the Tabla Lahra to encourage classical music students.  

The coordination government will play the sitar.  Mitali Bhowmik, Biplab Mukhopadhyay and Ruplekha Chatterjee will also participate in the event.  Pritam Polle, Rupak Mitra, Kaushik Saha, Ravi Shankar Bhattacharya, Rupayan Chakraborty and Uchhal Banerjee will accompany them on tabla.  Devashis Halder on Sarengi and Pandit Sanatan Goswami and Anirban Chakraborty on harmonium.
