BG News ! New Film Announcement 'Subho Bijoya'

News Desk,Kolkata :- Kichukhan Entertainment, helmed by actor and singer, Amrita De announced their third Bengali feature film tentatively titled "Subho Bijoya". The lead cast and crew of the film came together at the heritage setup of Raas Manch, Swabhumi today to celebrate the start of this beautiful onscreen journey .

The teaser poster was released with the lead cast and crew amidst the vibrant sound of dhaak and conch shells to set in the mood of Pujo.

'Subho Bijoya' a poignant story of a  joint family in North Kolkata that boasts of a steller cast comprising of Kaushik Ganguly, Churni Ganguly, Bonny, Koushani, Kharaj Mukherjee, Devtanu, Amrita De among others.

This is the first time the audience will see the power packed jodi of Bonny and Koushani in a different avatar. They would be seen essaying the role of a married couple in the film much unlike their previous films.

The powerhouse real life duo Koushik Ganguly and Churni Ganguly will be seen as a reel couple, perhaps the first time on the big screen.

The film will be directed by *Rohan Sen* whose last film Aparajita released this year.

Subho Bijoya revolves around a Bonedi family situated in North Calcutta. Over time, the extended family begins to become more and more fragmented. An incident is forced to bring back the estranged family members back to the house. Relationships start to entwine. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

As the name suggests 'Subho Bijoya' has a Durga Puja setting.Keeping in mind the flavour of the film, the makers have scheduled to release it post Bijoya Dashami 

The music of the film will be helmed by Anindya Chatterjee, Savvy and Ranajoy. Savvy will be seen lending the background music of the film. Camera will be headed by Manas Ganguly. Film will be edited by Sayantan Nag.

 

Neo Studios headed by Saptaswa Basu will be the creative producer of the film.

All in all a film that will continue to keep the flavour of Pujo alive on the big screen much after Durga Puja is over.
